About Platte County Court Docket

Platte County court dockets and records sit in more than one official channel. Missouri Case.net is the public search starting point, while the Circuit Clerk keeps the official circuit case record and the Sixth Judicial Circuit sets local hearings. This private reference resource identifies those routes, explains when a docket entry differs from a certified copy, and notes the municipal-court paths that can be easy to confuse with the county circuit system.

Why We Built This Site

Missouri makes many court indexes and records available, but Platte County has distinct routes for a Case.net result, a Circuit Clerk document request, a courthouse-terminal question, and a municipal case. A docket sheet is the running event record for a case. The Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit hears the county’s circuit matters, and Elysia Collins, the Platte County Circuit Clerk, is the named local records contact for non-probate circuit filings. Probate follows its own division route.

The goal is to make those routes easier to distinguish. Missouri Case.net can locate a public case by name, number, filing date, or scheduled hearing. The court or clerk remains the source for a live setting, a document that is not remotely viewable, or a certified record.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected with a Missouri court, the Platte County Circuit Clerk, or a government agency. There are clear limits to what it can do:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages carry search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers set their own prices, terms, and results. A paid sign-up through one may produce a referral fee that supports the resource. Their records and results remain outside this site’s control, and official Platte County court information should be confirmed with the originating court or clerk.
